We are approaching the Mid Term Elections in Washington D.C. Unless you have had your head in the sand, you will know that there is not much of a pleasant mood in the country. When considering who you will vote for, it is probably best to ignore all the last minute very disturbing commercials, and do some research on more than one website to examine both sides of the issues. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Most, not all, of our politicians are so busy talking, many have forgotten how to listen. So that leaves it up to us, United States Citizens, to speak to them in the most powerful way we can, by Voting. Regardless of which side of the political spectrum you may fall on I know there have been many times, where your own side made you cringe. None of us have been exempt from those moments. Keep one thing in mind, neither side is always right. Some in Washington view us as the little people, who will tow the line, to whatever the story or the drama of the hour is, and you're constantly being manipulated to try to keep your anger going.
Your vote in this election may decide the long future of our country. The two major parties are completely different and at this point do not, with the exception of a few, show signs of wanting to work together. It is time to only keep those officials who have shown their ability to work with both sides, and eliminate those who do not. It is your decision as to whether or not you are happy with the current direction of our country or want to completely change it. Before you vote, make sure you read beyond the personal attack commercials. They only prove the point that I am trying to make.
